Based on the theory of the imagologie, this paper probes into the image of Zhenjiang in the literary world of the two sisters of Pearl S. Buck and Grace S. Yaukey. Their special life experience of living in China for many years as Americans endowed them with different intercultural perspective from that of the writers in the same period. It develops from the context of the biographies of The Exile, Fighting Angel Portrait of a Soul, My Several Worlds and The Exile's Daughter: A Biography of Pearl S. Buck. Under the reflection of their cultural identities, it turned out to be a rich port city while the countryside along the city was just like a fairyland, finally transferred from an agricultural city into a modern city with the introduction of western civilization.
