Reconstruction of Little Red Riding Hood's Female Image—The Company of Wolves from the Structuralism Perspective

《与狼为伴》是安吉拉·卡特对童话《小红帽》的戏仿之作。文章运用结构主义批评策略,分析小说中存在的三组二元对立项——男性与女性、天真与经验、感性与理性,揭示作者通过改写小红帽与狼人对立的结局建构了一个独立自主、成熟理性的新女性形象。

The Company of Wolves is Angela Carter＇ s parody of Little Red Riding Hood. By implying structuralism criticism, this paper analyzes the three binary oppositions existing in the novel ： male vs female, innocence vs experience and sense vs sensibility in order to expose the author＇ s purpose of establishing an independent, experienced and rational new female image by rewriting the end of the conflict between The Little Red and the Werewolf.
