本文探讨了"内燃机现代先进技术及其进展"全英文教学的方式方法,综述了国内外内燃机先进技术特别是在先进燃烧控制及电子控制领域的研究及教学现状,提出了文献导读、国外教材阅读、先进控制技术讲解等各种教学方法及途径,在教学内容和方式上以培养英文专业知识学习及应用能力为主要目的,不但能够求得国外内燃机先进技术及进展,更重要的是学会获取国外内燃机先进技术进展的方法及途径,汲取学科知识。本课程教学对拓宽动力机械及工程专业的研究生学术眼界、培养适应国际化潮流的内燃机领域复合型人才有重要作用。

This paper mainly discusses the English teaching method of＆quot;Advanced Technology and Development for Internal Combustion Engines＆quot;.A summarization of status quo between domestic and foreign research is explained, especially fields in combustion control and electronic control of the engines. Series of methods and approaches are proposed for scientific literature study, foreign textbook reading and advanced control technology, with the objective of cultivating professional knowledge in Eng-lish and application ability.Not only advanced technology and de-velopment for internal combustion engines can be obtained, but also the way how to get such information may be learned. This course is essential for postgraduate students majoring in power machinery and engineering to broaden their horizon,and at the same time ,it is important for developing multi-skill technology talented persons to adapt to the international tides.
