论现代大学制度之现代性

On the Modernity of Modern University System

现代性是大学制度发展进入社会历史的现代时期后所获得的一种属性,但它并不排斥古典性,恰恰相反,现代大学制度是在古典大学制度的基础建立起来的。现代性与传统性是相互交集的关系,大学制度的传统性是不断累积的,现代性是大学制度的传统性的延伸和发展。当代性一般不作为阐释现代大学制度属性的概念,也不作为与大学制度的现代性相对应的概念来使用,但现代大学制度不仅存在于当代,而且还面向未来发挥作用。

Modernity is a property achieved by the university system in the modern era of social history, however, modernity does not exclude the classicality, on the contrary, the modern university system is built up on the basis of the classicality. The relationship between modernity and tradition is of mutual intersection, and the tradition of university system has been constantly accumulated, while the modernity is the extension and development of the traditional university system. Contemporaneity is generally not used as a concept to interpret the property of modern university system, neither as a concept to correspond to the property of modernity of university system. The modern university system not only exists in the contemporary period, but also plays a role in the future.
