Baudelaire is believed to be a very great critic of the nineteenth century in France because of his critical talent and sensibility. Baudelaire＇ s aesthetic views are greatly influenced by Poe＇ s literary theory, which on a large scale has something in common with him. However, he has his unique understanding on artistic autonomy, inspiration theory and beauty. Compared with Poe＇ s aesthetic views, Baudelaire shows his acceptance of Poe＇ s theory as well as his amendment and extension.
