Based on the culture, the analysis on translation of political texts is conducted from the perspective of cross - cultural prag- matics including pragmatic means, pragmatic environment and pragmatic subject, which will reveal the individuality and generality of Chinese and English pragmatic phenomena, thus eliminating the obstacles in translation and realizing effective and successful cross - cultural communication.
