New Reflections on Pronunciation Instruction for English Majors under a CALL Environment——A Case Study in Xingyi Normal University for Nationalities

摘要 在计算机辅助语言学习(CALL)环境下,学习理论、教育理念、学习环境都在变化和革新。文献综述回顾了英语语音教学的历史和发展,访谈问卷的数据分析呈现了兴义民族师范学院英语专业语音教学的现状。基于历史的回顾和现状的分析,语调听觉法(verbo-tonal method)是在对语音教学作出新的思考后被建议尝试的理论来源,更深入的实证研究亟待实施。 Learning theories, education theories and leaning environment have been keeping changing under a Computer Assisted Language Learning Environment (CALL). Relevant literature reviewed the history and development of English pronunciation instruction. Data Analysis on a semi-structured interview presented the current situation of English pronunciation instruction in Xingyi Normal University for Nationalities. A verbo-tonal method, which was the original theory of designing an instructional system, was suggested as a trial on the basis of the review of the history and current situation of pronunciation. Empirical studies are expected in the future study for conducting this method. Key words: pronunciation instruction; Computer Assisted Language Learning; verbo-tonal method
