A Comparative Study on Six Language and Culture Institutes as Communicators

传播者是传播过程的发起者和源头,对传播内容、媒介、受众、效果等都起着决定性的作用。本文从创立年代、机构性质、宗旨与目标、机构职能以及政治文化环境等维度对比分析了法语联盟等六所语言文化机构,发现中国的制度和文化与其他国家存在较大差异,因此,在文化传播中可以借鉴西方国家的一些成功经验,但不能一味地照搬西方模式。

Communicator is the origin of communicating process, which plays a decisive role on communicating content, media, receivers and effect. This article made a comparative study on six language and culture institutes such as the Confucious Institute, the British Council etc from the aspects of founding time, function and purpose, cultural and political environment. The conclusion is China can apply some of the successful communicating experience of other institutes in culture dissemination but cannot copy the western pattern without any change.
