On Evolution of Chinese Modern Elite Culture

近代以来,精英文化随着"救亡"运动的兴起与推进而发生了深刻的变化。精英文化在与主流文化、大众文化分离的同时,也开始自身的嬗变。由于历史的特殊性,精英文化的发展既受到政治因素的影响,又与现代化的展开有着密切的联系,因而,考察精英文化的发展进程,对推进文化强国建设与实现伟大的"中国梦"都有非常重要的启示意义。

Since the modem times ,with the rise and advance of the movement of ＂salvation＂ the elite culture has undergone profound changes. The elite culture begins its evolution, separating itself with the mainstream culture and the mass culture. Because of the particu- larity of the history, the elite culture is not only affected by political factors, but also closely linked with the modernization ; therefore, reviewing the development process of the elite culture has very important significance both for building a country with a strong culture and for realizing the great ＂China dream＂.
