An Analysis of the Regeneration Mechanism of the Textual Meaning in A Hero of Our Time

本文以塔尔图符号学派的代表人物洛特曼的文化符号学为研究方法,从叙述主体的转换、符号圈的不匀质性、界限性三个方面,对莱蒙托夫的长篇小说《当代英雄》进行深入的文本分析,重点揭示该文本的意义发生器、创造性功能和交际功能,从而发掘该文学经典的意义再生机制,以期对我国文学批评界解读文学经典,提供有价值的参考。

Based on the theory of cultural semiotics by Lotman -- representative of Tartu School, this paper gives an in-depth textual analysis of Lemontov＇ s A Hero of Our Time from such aspects as the alteration of narration subjects, the heterogeneity of semiosphere, and its boundedness, placing emphasis on the meaning generator, creative function, and communicative function of the novel, and exploring the meaning regeneration mechanism of the literary classic, in the hope of providing the circle of literary criticism in our country with some valuable references in interpreting literary classics.
