摘要
The past decade has been a period of considerable progress for China-EU economic and trade relations, with the bilateral trade volume increasing from US$135.2 billion in 2003 to US$559 billion in 2013; Chinese exports to the EU have increased from US$72.2 billion to US$339 billion, and imports from the EU from US$53 billion to US$220 billion. The EU has thus become China's largest trading partner, its largest export market for many years, and its leading technology source.
