The Application and Practice of Dry-heap Red Mud Pond in Collapsible Loess Areas

赤泥库是氧化铝厂不可缺少的配套安全设施。近年来,赤泥库溃坝的事故屡屡发生,给人民群众生命财产造成了重大损失,对环境造成了严重破坏。通过对干堆赤泥库在湿陷性黄土地区应用与实践进行了分析,阐述了赤泥干式堆存工艺的特点,为今后类似干堆赤泥库的建设与应用提供了相关的技术措施。

The red mud pond is an indispensable auxiliary safety facility of alumina plant.In recent years,the dam collapse accidents of red mud pond,which often happen,have caused heavy losses to people＇s lives and property and heavy damages to environment.Through analyzing the application and practice of dry-heap red mud pond in collapsible loess areas,this paper expounds the features of red mud＇ s dry-heap process,and provides the relevant technical measures for the construction and application of similar dry-heap red mud pond in the future.
