In the initial exploitation stage of Chang 109 Block in Changchunling oil field, the high water-cut zone of the central structural belt caused most oil wells flooded and affected production performance seriously. The wells in high water-cut zone penetrated the single sand body No.4 in the fifth and sixth small layers, but low watercut wells around don' t develop in this layer. The micro-resistivity curve reflects that the single sand body No.4 in the fifth and sixth small layers is water layer, and it is a major factor of high water-cut zone.According to dynamic analysis of wells, distribution characteristics of the high water-cut zone in Chang 109 block is studied, and found that the combined effect of formation water and injected water is another important deteminant of causing anomalously high water-cut zone based on water quality comparison analysis between them. This research provides credible geological foundations for water flooding development adjustment in Changchunling oil field.
