A Link Quality Based Code Dissemination Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要 无线重编程技术是无线传感器网络进行软件部署的关键技术,代码分发协议是无线重编程技术的核心,提出一种基于链路质量的无线传感器网络代码分发协议。协议使用节点间的链路质量进行节点影响度的计算,提高了代码分发协议在网路质量不佳时的性能。同时协议使用周期性广播的ADV信息对邻居节点的状态进行维护,降低了控制消息的开销。TOSSIM仿真实验结果表明,在网络分发时间和消息传送量两个方面,协议都优于TinyOS系统的标准代码分发协议Deluge,尤其在网络质量不佳情况下,协议有更好的性能。 Wireless reprogramming is a crucial technique for software deployment in Wireless sensor networks,Code dissemination is the core of wireless reprogramming.A link quality based code dissemination protocol was presented.To improve the performance of code dissemination protocol in lossy networks,link quality between nodes to calculate the impact of each node was leveraged.To reduce the overhead of control plane messages,the periodically broadcasted ADV messages was used to maintain the state of neighboring nodes.TOSSIM simulation results show that our protocol outperforms Deluge (the de facto wireless reprogramming protocol for TinyOS) in terps of network completion time and message transmissions especially in the case of poor network quality.
