食品类科技论文图表中英文常见错误解析

Analysis of common errors in thesis of food science concerning english translation of figures and tables

对《中文核心期刊要目总览》(2011版)中列出的9种主要食品科技类期刊的100篇论文的图表英文进行了分析,对其中常见的错误进行了分类和总结。结果发现:主要错误有用词错误,占59%;其次是表述错误,占37%,语法错误占15%。文章还分析了产生错误的原因,并提出一些建议。

Analyzed 100 papers from 9 major journals of food science listed in Core Journals of China （2013 edition）, classified and summed up the common errors concerning the English translation of figures and tables occurring in all the papers. The result showed that the major types of errors include： misuse of words （59%）, wrong ways of expression （37%）, and grammatical mistakes （15%）. The paper further analyzes the possible causes for all the errors and provides some suggestions to avoid these mistakes.
