作为中国共产党第一代中央领导集体的主要成员和第二代中央领导集体的核心,邓小平同志以政治家的重教远见和教育家的办学理念,审时度势,在如何牵住教育发展的"牛鼻子"、如何选择教育发展的策略、如何明确教育发展的目标、如何认清教育发展的方向、如何抓住教育发展的关键、如何把握教育发展的动力等方面进行了深入的思考和及时科学的决策,引领着改革开放后中国教育事业的发展,为后人留下了鲜明、独特的教育遗产。邓小平之后的党的领导集体,根据社会发展新趋势和人民群众对教育发展的新要求,对邓小平教育遗产进行了很好的继承与创新。
As a major member of the first generation of the CPC's central collective leadership as well as the core of the second generation of the CPC's central collective leadership, Comrade Deng Xiaoping judged the hour and sized up the situation with a politician's foresight in attaching great importance to education and an educator's school-running concept. Based on in-depth reflections on the essence, strategies, goals, prospect, key and momentum for educational development, Comrade Deng formulated a series of education policies in a timely and reasonable manner, which guided the development of education in China since the implementation of reform and opening-up policy. Comrade Deng Xiaoping's distinct and unique educational heritage has been inherited and innovated by later generations of the CPC's central collective leadership in response to the latest trends in social development and the new needs of the general public.
