Using SWOT strategic analysis,the internal strengths and weaknesses for influencing the development of Maryland tobacco in Wufeng,Yichang were analyzed,as well as the opportunities and threats.The potential competitive advantage was tapped,the corresponding countermeasures for improving core competitiveness of Yichang Wufeng Maryland tobacco research center were put forward,which has reference value for future development strategy of Yichang tobacco enterprises.
