The paper points out defects of double-layer template structure of external building insulation layer, such as complicated structure, long construction duration and high cost. It comparatively analyzes technical performance, operation steps and economic index of SJN composite insulation plate. Practice proves that： applying SJN composite insulation template replacing traditional building template can not only reduce engineering cost but also shorten construction duration by applying suitable design methods.
