Chinese import and export in May 2014 Based on the statistics of China Customs, total import and export from Jan. to May 2014 was RMB 10.29 trillion Yuan, down by 2.2% over that in the same period in the previous year. Of this total, export was RMB 5.36 trillion Yuan, down by 2.7% over that in the same period in the previous year. Import was RMB 4.92 trillion Yuan, down by 1.6%. Surplus was RMB 436.6 billion Yuan.
