摘要
本文对美国阿拉巴马大学刘迪麟教授编著的《习语-描述、理解、习得与教学》进行了简要介绍和评析。该书是从第二语言(L2)学习者、教学者角度出发全面的展现了习语的理解、习得、学习与教学,将习语理论与实践集于一体进行研究。与同类的习语研究著作相比有其独特的特色,对外语实践教学有很大的启示。
This paper reviewed on A study of Idioms:description,comprehension,acquisition,and pedagogy by Dilin Liu,Ph.D.,teaches at the University of Alabama,USA.The book combines theories and practice as a holistic approach to present a comprehensive,up-to-date coverage of idioms,the comprehension and acquisition of idioms,and the learning and teaching of idioms from the perspective of L2 learner,educator and researcher.Compared with those similar books concerning idiom research,it is unique and provides value implication for foreign language teaching.
