图书馆学研究应以思想性为导引,思想是灵魂,思想是行动的指南,它形成人的伟大,有思想才能激活能力。学术制度;中国人的整体思维方式的某些缺陷和问题意识缺乏;单向度的技术性;现行教育存在问题;误解等是造成图书馆学界思想贫穷的主要原因。学者的责任就是引领社会思潮,做图书馆学思想的发现者、传播者和创造者,并自觉地践行。研究者不但要懂得构成图书馆学思想,更要对构成思想的前提进行批判。

Idea is the soul and the guide for library science study. Idea is the guide of action and can make man great and activate abilities. Academic institution, some deficiencies existing in Chinese people＇s way of thinking and the lack of problem consciousness, one - way technicality, problems in current education, misunderstanding and so on are chiefly responsible for the poor idea in library academic world. The responsibility of scholar is to lead the social thoughts and act as the discoverer, communicators and creators of library science ideas and consciously practice it. The researchers not only should know how to constitute library science ideas, but also should thinking critically about the precondition constituting ideas. 45 refs.
