Some Problems should be Paid Attention to in Pushing Library Services forward the Central and Western Areas

文章探讨了我国中西部地区图书馆服务中存在的一些问题,认为应从理念、技术、制度等方面入手,全面借鉴东部地区图书馆发展的经验和我国图书馆发展的历史经验,不失时机地投入公共文化服务示范区创建活动,从而提高图书馆服务水平,解决中西部地区信息贫困状况。

This article discusses some problems existing in the library services in the central and western China, holds the opinion that we should start with the concepts, technique and system and so on, comprehensively borrow the libraries＇ development experiences in East China and the historical experiences of the development of Chinese libraries and losing no time to put our whole selves into the activities to construct the demonstration area of public cuhural services so as to improve the libraries services level and solve the information poverty in the central and western areas. 3 refs.
