Karst caves are found in the construction of diversion tunnels of Pingzhai hydropower station. In this paper, the treatment method, construction procedures and technology for those Karst caves are introduced. The mixing ratio and pouring technique of self - compacting concrete adopted in the cave backfill construction are presented. Engineering practice shows that the treatment of Karst caves is satisfactory.
