The design, properties and application of waterborne wood multi-functional sealing primer is introduced. Test results indicated the prepared sealing primer effectively solved some problems including waterproof, cracking resistant, and seal oil and tannic acid etc. It also greatly simplifies the application procedure of waterborne wood coatings. Therefore it provides technical foundation for enlarging wood furniture painting and decoration markets.
