Correlation of expression of p21WAF1 gene with the clinical pathological feature of lung carcinoma

目的:探讨p21WAF1基因与肺癌临床病理特征的相关性。方法:随机选择45例肺癌患者的肺癌和癌旁组织标本,SP法检测p21WAF1蛋白的表达,分析p21WAF1基因与肺癌临床病理特征的相关性。结果:p21WAF1在肺癌和癌旁组织中阳性表达率分别为75.6%和6.7%,两者比较,差异显著(P<0.01);p21WAF1蛋白阳性表达率与肺癌不同的临床病理特征无相关性(P>0.05)。结论:p21WAF1基因与肺癌临床病理特征无关。

Objective：To study the correlation of expression of p21WAF1 gene with the clinical pathological fea- ture（ histological grade, metastasis and tumor size）of lung carcinoma （LC）. Methods： p21WAF1 protein expression in the cancer tissue and peri - cancer tissue samples of 45 patients with LC were detected by immunicytochemical method（SP）. To study the correlation of expression of p21WAF1 gene with the clinical pathological feature（ histologi- cal grade, metastasis and tumor size）of LC. Results：The positive rates of p21WAF1 proteins in the cancer tissue and peri - cancer tissue samples were respectively 75.6% and 6.7% （ P 〈 0.01 ）. There wasn＇t correlation between ex- pression of p21WAF1 protein expression with the clinical pathological feature（ histological grade, metastasis and tumor size） of LC （P 〉 0.05 ）. Conclusion：There wasn＇t correlation between p21WAF1 gene with the clinical pathological feature（ histological grade, metastasis and tumor size）of LC.
