Objective: To study the relationship between lower extremity arterial disease and liver damage marker levels in patients with type 2 diabetes, and to provide evidence for the prevention of complications of type 2 diabetes. Methods: 946 cases of type 2 diabetes patients were selected. All cases were divided into three groups according to the lower extremity arterial intima-media thickness: no arteriosclerosis group with 276 cases, simple arteriosclerosis group 598 cases, atherosclerosis with stenosis or occlusion group 72 cases. Analyze the relationship between liver injury and lower extremity atherosclerosis with statistical methods. Results: With the severity of atherosclerosis, ALT levels increased gradually, pairwise differences between the three groups were statistically significant (P〈0.05). Atherosclerosis with stenosis or occlusion group AST levels is significantly higher than those of non-simple group and lower extremity arterial atherosclerosis group. There is no significant difference between the group and the non-arteriosclerosis arteriosclerosis group AST levels. Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the correlation coefficient between ALT and diabetic lower extremity arterial is 0.30484, and analysis risk factors of lower extremity atherosclerosis with logistic regression analysis, ALT came in third place. Conclusion: Liver alanine aminotransferase is a risk factor for diabetic lower limb arteriosclerosis.
