摘要
教育对国民性有着正负两方面的影响。如果对其负面影响不加警惕,教育就完全有可能沦为阻碍国民性改造的消极力量。只有在经过批判与重建的辩证否定之后,教育才能真正成为促进国民性健康发展的重要动力。现行教育对社会的病态性适应,不利于其对现代人格的培养,对国民性产生了显著的负面影响。要从根本上扭转这种局面,就必须提倡教育对社会的超越性适应。
Education has both positive and negative implications on national character. If its negative effects be neglected, education will be entirely hinder the development of national character. Only after criticism and reconstruction, education can truly become an important force in the promotion of national character. Because of existing education's morbid adaptation to society, existing education is detrimental to the culture of modern personality, and has a significant negative impact on national character. To fundamentally reverse this situation, we must advocate education's transcendent adaptation to society.
