摘要
以精铟为原料,采用区域熔炼方法提纯金属In,研究平衡分配系数、区熔速度及区熔次数对铟提纯效果的影响。结果表明,Ni、Cu、Ag、As、Fe、Zn通过区域熔炼有较好的去除,而Cd、Sn、Pb脱除效果较差;在熔区速度3.5 mm/min,10次熔融,可得到铟的纯度为99.9991%。结合真空蒸馏提纯铟的实验结果,采用真空蒸馏-区域熔炼的方法能获得更高纯度的金属In。
A novel technique was developed to purify the 99. 9977 % indium by zone refining in argon atmosphere. The impacts of the zone melting conditions, such as the equilibrium distribution coefficients, translation rate of zone melting, and cycles of zone melting and cooling, on purity of the refined indium were experimentally studied. The results show that the Ni, Cu, Ag, As, Fe, and Zn impurities can be effectively removed except the Cd, Sn, and Pb impurities. The99. 9977% pure indium was refined into 99.9991% indium under the optimized conditions: at a melting-zone translation rate of 3.5 mm/min after 10 cycles of zone melting and cooling. Indium was also purified by vacuum distillation, and the preliminary results show that indium with higher purity can be obtained by a combination of vacuum distillation and zonemelting techniques.
