In the course of swordsman fiction of the Republic of China,the novel Stories of Swordsmen from Shushan,whose composition spanned eighteen years,was a rare example with its own textual features.By empirical classification,this novel can be researched as an epitome of swordsman fiction of the Republic of China in three dimensions:comment on man and world,serial form,and plot structure.The research on this novel can be developed into the history of the Republic of China's middle age,thus the view angle of the 'Post Buxiaosheng Age'can be introduced.Just like the view angle of 'Post JinYong Age',it also offers a view to the logic points and logic line of the inheritance and innovation of swordsman fictions.
