1948年人民币的诞生仅仅是中国人民金融事业的开始,从人民币的发行到新币在全国市场成为统一货币,还需要一番艰苦的努力。因为旧中国始终没有形成过统一、自主、建立在商品经济基础上的现代金融体系,金融市场的局面异常复杂。陈云领导中财委,采取了一系列措施推进人民币尽快占领市场;在通货膨胀的治理中巩固了人民币在市场上的本位币地位;在统一全国现金管理中进一步健全了人民币管理体制;使人民币制度在新中国创立初年得以牢固确立。这一历史进程再次证明,只有尊重客观经济规律,政府的管理和调控作用才可能奏效。

The birth of RMB in 1948 was only the beginning of the China ' s financial industry.From the issuance of RMB to the new currency becoming the common currency in the country,it also needs some hard efforts.Because Old China had never formed a unified and independent modern financial system based on the commodity economy,financial market situation was very complex.The Finance Committee,under the leadership of Chen Yun,adopted a series of measures to promote RMB to occupy the market as soon as possible;consolidated RMB' s dominant currency position in the process of inflation governance;further improved the RMB management system in unified national cash management and made RMB system get firmly established in the early years of New China.This historical process once again proved that management and regulation of the government was likely to work only by respecting objective economic laws.
