青斗石上的显影意涵——蒋孟育“两京敡历”牌坊考

Meaning of Epigraph on Bluestones——Study on Jiang Mengyu's Memorial Archway “Taking Official Posts in Beijing and Nanjing”

"两京敡历"牌坊矗立在漳州芗城区香港路,为晚明吏部侍郎蒋孟育暨祖、父三代之功名旌表坊。此坊建于明万历四十七年(1619),为一座三间五楼十二柱仿木结构之石牌坊,除额枋镌刻功名事迹文字,额匾正反面各刻有"两京敡历""三世宰贰"外。笔者亦发现额匾左右的青斗石立面,各刻镂有文字。本文即对此牌坊文字作一番考证,期待此立面文字的发现与考证,或将对蒋孟育其人其事有更详尽的认知。

The memorial archway of “taking official posts in Beijing and Nanjing” stands tall on Xianggang Road, Xiangcheng District, and Zhangzhou is an archway that extols the achievements of Jiang Mengyu, the vice minister of Ministry of Personnel in the late Ming Dynasty, his grandfather and father. Built in the 47th year of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty （1619）, the archway is a stone memorial archway of wood imitation structure with three arcades, five floors and twelve pillars （三间五楼十二柱）. Words of their scholarly honor and achievements have been engraved on its archi- trave, and “taking official posts in Beijing and Nanjing” and “two generations out of three acted as prime ministers” have been carved at the from and back of its horizontal inscribed beard. Moreover, we discovered that words were engraved on the elevation of bluestone which was on both sides of the horizontal inscribed board. The study researched into the words on the memorial archway in the hope that the discovery and research of the words on its elevation let people have a more detailed understanding of Jiang Mengyu and his accomplishments.
