文章对《时风与艺风》一书从六个方面作了评价,一是填补了学界对《艺风》月刊研究的空白;二是以独特的视角对《艺风》月刊作者群及其作品进行了综合研究;三是体现了浓墨重彩的时风和艺风主题;四是给《艺风》月刊以准确的历史定位;五是《艺风》月刊构建了民间美术和民俗学研究发展的理论平台;六是研究方法科学、篇章结构严谨、运用资料翔实、语言简练流畅。全书通过对艺风社同人和《艺风》月刊在上世纪30年代中国美术发展进程中所作出重要贡献的探讨,进而引发对中国美术现代化进程的思考。

The article evaluates a book Shi Feng and Yi Feng from six aspects. First, filling the academic blank-ness on studying the Yi Feng monthly magazine; Second, a comprehensive study of the authors and their works of Yi Feng monthly magazine by a unique perspective; Third, reflecting era atmosphere and artistic theme; Fourth, accurate historical positioning the Yi Feng monthly; Fifth, the Yi Feng monthly constructed a theoretical platform for research and development of folk art and folklore; Sixth, research methods were scientific, chapters structure were rigorous, the materials were informative, lan-guages were concise and fluent. The book discussed the important contributions of Yifeng mass orga-nization and the Yi Feng monthly in the Chinese art development process in the 1930s, triggering the reflections on Chinese art modernization process.
