ON HAN YU'S RELEGATED POEMS OF HUNAN

韩愈一生多次经过湖湘地区,在多次的湖湘之旅中,首贬阳山及其量移江陵,是其比较特殊的一段经历,这段时间其创作收获颇丰,光是往返湖湘期间就先后创作了三十多首诗歌。这些湖湘贬谪诗描绘湖湘胜景,抒发含冤受屈的愤懑的怨恨,揭露中唐时代的政治黑暗,一些诗歌成为了韩愈诗作中的精品。

Han Yu had been to Hunan for times. His first relegated poems on Yangshan and Jiangling is a special experience among all his tours in Hunan. He created more than 30 poems during that period of time, in which he described the depicting scenery of Hunan, expressed his resentful anger and exposed political darkness of Mid-Tang dynasty, and some of them became great pieces of Han Yu＇s poem.
