王学忠是河南安阳诗人。他的诗歌为底层民众立言,以愤怒、呐喊的姿态尽情揭露社会假丑恶现象,在新世纪以来的中国诗坛上,产生了很大的影响,形成了独特的"王学忠诗歌现象"。他诗歌中的平民意识与抗争思想,以他最初儿童诗歌中的悲悯情怀为源头,在社会急剧的转型过程中,他的诗歌精神得到升华,最终形成了他"平民诗人"的特征。他的诗歌对当下诗歌创作具有一定的导引性意义。

Wang Xuezhong is a poet who comes from Anyang Henan. His poems expound ideas of people fi＇om the bottom of the society and expose the society＇s falsity, clownism and atrocity with a stance of anger and outburst. His poetry has exerted a strong influence on the Chinese Parnassus since the new century came and formed the unique ＂Wang Xuezhong poem phenomenon＂. The civilian consciousness and resistance thought in his poetry derive from his initial children＇s poetry. In the process of the society＇s drastic transformation, the spirit of his poetry got stimulation and finally formed his own characteristic of ＂Civilian Poet＂. His poems have certain guiding significance in the poetic creation of the present.
