YanGeling is a famous and responsible writer .She thinks that writers should not write current things , because it will be less insightful without much thinking .Therefore , many of her novels are set in things which have happened from Chinese Anti -Japanese War to the Reform and Opening -up.Her novel the Ninth Widow tells the story about that age .The main story is that the ninth widow saves her husband ’ s father by conquering all kinds of difficulties .In the paper , the author tries to explain how the ninth widow survives in that difficult times and becomes a happy widow from the perspective of Marxist theory of survival .
