As a kind of ecological photography,night shooting has become increasingly popular in China during recent years. The photographing objects are mainly nocturnal animals living outdoors. In the recent 3 years, I often use the weekend nights in spring and summer, walking into the mountains to shoot frogs, snakes, insects and other animal. Night shooting requires not only a variety of equipment, but also need the courage, I spent two or three months to overcome the fear when facing the mountains under the cover of boundless darkness all by myself. By so far, I have recorded more than 20 kinds of frogs through night shooting, which are very rare in the daytime. 3 years field shooting experience makes me realize that the bio-diversity of Ningbo is relatively rich, but in many places the ecological protection is urgent.
