Analysis of the Relationship Between Basic Science and Military Technological Innovation

摘要 从军事技术发展史的角度分析,基础科学与军事技术创新的关系历经了独立发展、相互联系和高度融合3个阶段。本文以卡文迪许实验室和美国海军研究办公室为例,阐述了基础科学与军事技术创新的关系已由单向线性模式转变为双向互动模式,即一方面基础科学为军事技术创新提供理论基础,另一方面军事技术创新也带动了基础科学的发展。关注基础科学与军事技术创新关系的探讨,对我国依托基础科学推动军事技术创新,促进军民融合发展有一定的借鉴意义。 Through the history of military technology,the relationship between basic science and military technological innovation develops from low-level stage,intermediate stage to high-level stage. In order to illustrate the link,this analysis presented here indicates that a linear relationship has been replaced by a bilinear model,by citing the example of Cavendish Lab and Office of Naval Research. Relations are thought in terms of two configurations: on one hand,basic science guides military technological innovation,on the other hand,military technological innovation drives basic science. The bilinear model provides some insights into fostering military innovation based on basic science and promoting civilmilitary inosculation for our country.
