论严修整饬贵州教育的举措——基于《蟫香馆使黔日记》的考察

On Yan Xiu's measures to rectify Guizhou education —— A Study on Yin Xiang Guan Shi Qian Diary

严修任贵州学政三年,大胆采取革新考试题、严惩替考者、革新课程、设立官书局等措施,革除科举考试流弊,扭转了考风学风、推动了贵州教育近代转型,其整饬教育的措施至今仍有借鉴意义。

Yan Xiu assumed the office as Guizhou XueZheng for three years. During these time, he took measures to eliminate the corrupt practices, such as improving the examination questions, punishing ringers, innovating curriculum, establishing the official press and so on. He abolished the imperial examination malpractices, reversed the general style of examination and studying, promoted the transformation of Guizhou modern education. His measures to rectify education still have reference significance.
