Improve Chinese seafarer's social insurance system by fully implementing MLC 2006

文中介绍了《2006年海事劳工公约》关于船员的社会保障条款,并分析了我国船员社会保险缴纳的现状,提出了通过加强船员劳动合同的监管,加大船员劳动保障现场监管力度等办法,进一步完善我国船员社会保险制度。

Based on introduction of the articles on seafarer social security in Maritime Labour Convention, 2006, the paper analyzes the existing conditions of the payment of seafarer social insurance in China. It suggests that the seafarer social insurance system in China be further improved through such measures as enhancing the supervision of seafarer service contract and strengthening on-the-spot control of seafarer labour protection.
