Pinewood nematodiasis is a destructive disease for pines. Tangkou Township is at the south gate to the Yellow Mountains and its special geographic location means heavy responsibility and requires good nematodiasis control to ensure the safety of Pinus taiwanensis,the national treasure. In this paper a series of measures for pinewood nematodiasis control in Tangkou Township were elaborated,the existing problems were analyzed and some targeted control measures were put forward.
