In the Song Dynasty, the right of inheritence of the sons of a man＇s concubines has greatly improved than that in the previous generation. The law provides that concubines＇ sons have the same right of inheritance as the legal wife＇s sons. This article discusses similarities and differences in the right of inheritance between the sons born of the legal wife of a man and the sons born of the concubines of a man, combines the study of the case in which the division of family property causes dispute, and further analyzes related issues on the right of inheritance of concubines.
