Effect of machiavellianism on loneliness:Moderated mediating effect

目的探讨青少年权谋倾向与孤独感的关系以及对两者关系可能有影响的中介变量和调节变量的作用,为制定干预措施提供参考。方法采用儿童马基雅维里主义量表、长处与困难问卷、儿童孤独量表同伴提名法,对郑州市901名初一学生进行调查。结果青少年权谋倾向与孤独感呈正相关(r=0.262,P<0.01),亲社会行为与权谋倾向、孤独感呈负相关(r值分别为-0.321,-0.288,P值均<0.01)。权谋倾向对孤独感的影响部分经由亲社会行为所中介。社会地位对权谋倾向与孤独感的关联强度有影响,在中、低社会影响水平条件下,亲社会行为可部分中介权谋倾向对孤独感的消极影响(P<0.01);高社会影响水平条件下,亲社会行为不能中介权谋倾向对孤独感的影响。结论青少年亲社会行为在权谋倾向与孤独感中起部分中介作用;社会地位对权谋倾向与孤独感的关系起调节作用;社会影响对于亲社会行为对权谋倾向与孤独感的中介作用存在调节效应。

Objective To investigate the relation between Machiavellianism and loneliness and the function of the factors that may influence their lelation namely,mediator and moderator,in order to provide basis for making interventional measures.Methods A total of 901 junior school students were assessed on 3 scales and peer nomination.The 3 scales used in this study were：The Chinese Revised Editiion of Kiddie Machiavellianism Scale（KMS）,Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire（SDQ）,Children＇s Loneliness Scale（SLS）.Results Machiavellianism was positively correlated with loneliness,and the coefficients between proactive behavior and Machiavellianism and loneliness were negative.Machiavellianism partially influenced loneliness by proactive behavior.The social status moderated the intensity of the effect of machiavellianism on aloneness.Under the low or medium social influence,prosocial behavior can patialize the negative effect of Machiavellianism on loneliness,while under high social influence,prosocial behavior can not mediate the effect of Machiavellianism on loneliness.Conclusion Prosocial behavior can partially funcion as mediator in machiavellianism and loneliness.Social status can moderate the relation between the machiavellianism and loneliness.Social influence has a moderating effect on the mediating of the prosocial behavior of the machiavellianism and loneliness.
