3-mode network can analyzes the intrinsic relationship between 3 types of nodes, which plays an important role in the analysis of social networking. Firstly, this paper constructs 3-mode network data and designs its visualization. Then, the paper takes the research on the subject of knowledge management in the field of library and information science as an example, and constructs the author-keywords-periodical 3-mode network for verification. Finally, the paper analyzes the relationship of author, keywords and periodical in 3-mode network, in order to describe the current status, as well as reveal the inherent laws and development trend.
