政治文化作为人类社会精神生活的层次,包括政治心理和政治思想两大部分,在政治生活中具有重要功能。共和思想作为西方一种古老的政治传统,在马基雅维利的思想体系中占有重要地位。马基雅维利的共和思想主要表现为共和政体形式的共和国,经其阐释,古典共和主义得到了复兴。马基雅维利的共和思想在西方整个共和主义思想体系演变发展的过程中居于承上启下、继往开来的特殊地位。

As an ancient political tradition in western world,republicanism plays an important role in Machiavelli＇s ideological system. Machiavelli＇s republicanism mainly represents a republican form of government. Classical republicanism revives with his interpretation. It plays the role of linking the preceding and the following thoughts in the whole process of western republicanism system.
