魏源对《毛诗》美刺、正变说的批评

Wei Yuan's Criticism on the Theory of Meici and Zhengbian in Mao Poetry

美刺、正变是《毛诗》说的重要内容,魏源认为《毛诗》美刺与正变之说,对正确理解《诗经》危害极大,必须予以批评。但魏源并不否定美刺说与正变说本身,他所反对的只是《毛诗》的篇篇皆有美刺、以美刺为《诗》本义的美刺说,及其以正与非正言正变的正变说。

The theory of Meici and Zhengbian are important content of Mao poetry, which obstructed understanding The Book of Songs correctly and should be criticized depending on Wei Yuan. But Wei didn＇t deny the theory of Meici and Zhengbian themselves. What he opposed were the theory regarding Meici as the original meaning of The Book of Songs and the theory of Zhengbian which distinguished Zheng and Feizheng.
