澳门中华教育会及其20世纪40年代的文教活动

The Chinese Educators Association of Macao and Its Cultural and Educational Activities in the 1940s

澳门中华教育会创立于1920年,历史悠久,建树良多。20世纪40年代抗战时期,中华教育会积极联合澳门的侨团,策动救国工作。在极艰难的情况下,中华教育会先贤仍然义不容辞地推行国语运动,筹办民众学校及侨立图书馆,推动澳门的师范教育。中华教育会在澳门教育发展中做出了特殊贡献。

The Chinese Educator Association of Macao （CEAM） was founded in 1920, It has a long history and received lot of achievements. During 1940s Anti-Japanese War period, CEAM actively joint overseas compatriot education in Macao, instigated national salvation work. In very difficult circumstances, the CEAM remain duty-bound to implement the national language movement, organizing public schools and library, promoting Macao＇s teacher education. CEAM made a special contribution to the development of education in Macao.
