Imagination:China's Own Language of Philosophy

象是中国"天人合一"哲学思想的表述形式。象既有以《周易》为代表的符号图形之象,也有如阴阳五行及心性理命等文字形式表述的象。象不是概念范畴,也不是感性认识的形象思维,而是中国人对"存在"本身的体悟。相对于传统欧洲哲学的本体论与认识论,象是存在论的、体验论的。象的根本特征是相感而通。其与范畴的区别在于它是主体(人)、对象(客体)与生存状态的三者合一。

Imagination is the philosophy expressed in the form of ' unity of man with Heaven'. As both the ' Book of Changes',represented by the symbol graphics imagination,also like ' yin yang and five-elements ' reasonable life as expressed in the form of words. Imagination is not the scope of the concept or the perceptual thinking of the image,but the Chinese ' being' sort of understanding. Relative to the traditional European philosophy ontology and epistemology,imagination is ontological and experience. Its fundamental characteristic is the sense of pass. The differencebetween areas and imagination is that the subject( person),object( the object) and the existence all in one.
