儋州中和调研究

Research into the Zhonghediao of Danzhou,China

中和调是孤立于海南儋州中和镇这一军话"方言岛"上仅由妇女和儿童演唱的一种军话民歌,它世代封闭于家庭小环境内,经由无创新静态传承存续至20世纪80年代,其后因社会生态巨变而消亡。本文将中和调与军话结合研究,澄清了海南军歌和军歌节"传统"的事实性错误,论证了"中和调有东坡遗风"是无根据的附会,做出中和调发端于明朝后期、可能与广西及闽东民歌有渊源关系的推论,也为语言学界的军话研究提供了一些可能的旁证。

The Zhonghediao （song of Zhonghe） is the only folksong genre existing in the small country townZhonghe of Danzhou city on Hainan Island, China. It is sung in the Jun dialect, which is known to linguists as one ofthe remaining variations on an extinct 15th-16th century dialect from China's Mainland, variations that now exist only asa few ＂speech islands＂ or outliers dotted over south-east China, including Zhonghe. Taking account of linguistic dis-coveries regarding the Jun dialect, I first examine the Zhonghediao＇s form, manner of singing, transmission and in-heritance, along with its recent decline and extinction, and the causes of this. I then identify several factual mistakesconcerning folksongs sung in the Jun dialect, mistakes which have widely misinformed society in general and misledrelevant research and academic studies; and in so doing, I present my own research findings on the origin and historyof the Zhonghediao.
