From 22 nd to 25 th May 2014,the 8th European election was held in 28 EU member states. The result of the election was not beyond the prediction in that the main political parties lost votes and the extreme right-wing parties gained more seats. This European election showed that it still possessed the characteristics of second-order national elections. The coalition formation in the European Parliament will remain stable and the rise of the extreme right will promote the cooperation between the main political groups. The influence of the extreme right on the newly-elected European Parliament will be relatively limited, but they may exert profound impacts on domestic politics. The European Parliament and the European Council had carried out complicated struggles on the candidates for the next president of the European Commission and Mr.Juncker's final election delivers a lot of political information.
