Some suggestions about the exploitation on historical and cultural heritage of Song and Liao dynasty in Baigou

白沟在中国历史上出名,与宋辽关系密不可分。一百多年的宋辽双边贸易开启了白沟的商贸传统,"两属地"的特殊地位使白沟成为宋朝君臣关注的热点地区之一。白沟驿是接待辽朝使节的第一站,白沟还是宋朝向辽朝交割岁币的地点;不少宋代名人也因此来到白沟,并以诗文的形成传播了白沟的名字。在宋辽关系史上独一无二的特殊地位,使得白沟声名鹊起。当代白沟人有条件,也有义务将白沟的宋辽历史文化遗产加以开发。

The reputation of Baigou in the history was due to the close relationship of Song and Liao Dynasty. One hundred years of Song and Liao bilateral trade opened the field of traditional trade of Baigou, ＂the two owned special status field＂ given it the chance to be one of the hot area which the Emperor and the Minister about Song and Liao Dynasty concentrated on. Baigou stage was the first stage to receive the envoy of Liao Dynasty, it was also the place which the Song Dynasty to deliver the indemnity to Liao ever y year; many celebrities of Song Dynasty had been to Baigou for those reasons, their poems spread Baigou name. The unique special status of Baigou in Song and Liao Dynasty, makes its name knew all over the world. Modem people in Baigou have the conditions and the obligations to exploit the historical and cul tural heritage of Song and Liao Dynasty in Baigou.
